How to Book Your Advertisement

Book your space and provide the ad copy by the 14th of each month, for the next month’s issue.

  • Let us know the ad size (e.g Half page)
  • Email the ad copy by the 14th of each month
  • You can use our easy Ad Booking Form

If we are Designing the Ad for you:

What we need:

  • Please submit all text needed for the ad and check that it is accurate.
  • Include high resolution graphics and/or logos for your ad (see acceptable formats list) link.
  • Provide clear direction of special instructions or layout requirements, if applicable.
  • Scans must be submitted as high resolution, 300 dpi or greater.

The process:

  • If you do not have a print-ready ad, we will design one for you. Our design fee is $25 and includes 2 proofs.
  • After receipt of the ad proof carefully review and ensure that the ad copy and layout is correct.
  • Return by email: opalpublishing.calgary@gmail.com
  • Your approval or any changes required within 24 hours

Pre-built Ads

  • Please submit a high resolution file, 300 dpi or greater.
  • Ensure you send your ad in an acceptable format (see acceptable formats list).
  • Convert all spot colors to CMYK.
  • Ads are to be non-bleed.

My ad sizes are in inches with a pixels conversion for your convenience.

Full Page Dimensions: H 9 x W 6.5 in (Pixels 864×624)

Half Page Dimensions
Horizontal: H 4.5 x W 6.5 in (Pixels 432 x 624)
Vertical: H 9 x W 3 in (Pixels 864 x 288)

Quarter Page Dimensions
Horizontal: H 1.625 x W 6.5 in (Pixels 156 x 624)
Vertical: H 3.25 x W 4.5 in (Pixels 312 x 432)

Eighth Page Dimensions
H 1.625 x 3.25 (Pixels 156 x 312)

Payment

  • We will invoice you by email – if you prefer to receive a Paypal invoice just let us know. Payment can be made by Paypal or e-transfer and is payable at time of booking. *Paypal includes an additional processing fee of 3.0%
